Framing - On Canvas

Oil or acrylic, stretched or unstretched, we can frame your canvas-based artwork. Original art in oil or acrylic on canvas makes a striking centrepiece to any room.

Art on canvas needs to be stretched over a stretcher frame before hanging (see Canvas Stretching), but once stretched can be left unframed for the minimal contemporary look, or framed to compliment the image. From ornate gilt frames to contemporary tray frames, we can help with all aspects of canvas framing.

Using our Dry Mounting Press, we can heat bond wavy pictures down onto card or board to restore its 'flat' appearance. We can also bond onto self-adhesive card and self-adhesive foam board, depending on the artwork and conservation considerations. Please call in to discuss.
